Should we design this?

Taking a perspective on ethical design, we will take a look at human implications of design.

There is an explosion of new digital products and services. Whether you are in pharma, financial services or public administration (or any other industry) a megatrend for the last 10 years have been to add digital services to your core products or to build new business models and product lines based on a digital value proposition.

For years designers have practiced finding good answers to questions like: Is there a human need that we can meet in a better way? Is there a business relevance in solving that problem? Can we design and build a desirable solution to that problem?

And is the solution compliant and feasible?

Moving forward we will more often be faced with the question: Should we design this? Is it the right thing to do? And is there an unintended bias in the solution?

At this Morgenbooster Christian Bason and Mikkel Jespersen will share perspectives on ethical design and give a pre-view on an Ethical Compass tool which is the focal point for a new project lead by Danish Design Centre and three design partners.

Join if you are looking for inspiration on ethical design and want to know why ethical design not only is an obligation for companies and governmental institutions but also a great business opportunity.

This is an online Morgenbooster hosted on Zoom.
