Discover the power of Futures Thinking in design processes during this two-day course. Explore the methodology that goes beyond prediction, enabling you to anticipate trends, navigate uncertainties, and craft innovative solutions.

Who this course is for:
Whether you're a designer, a strategist, an entrepreneur, or intrapreneur: if your job description contains thinking about tomorrow, this course might be for you.

The course is set up as a two-day course. While the first course focuses on the 101 of futures thinking, the second day dives into the unique possibilities that combining futures thinking and design thinking create.

Day 1: The Foundations of Futures Thinking
Explore emerging trends and changes that will shape the future. Assess their relevance, importance, and certainty. Define the most relevant topics and start exploring their implications and what alternative futures might emerge. Throughout the day, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of Futures Thinking, understand how the mindset works, and learn key tools and methods enabling you to apply Futures Thinking in your work.

Day 2: Futures Design
Day two is all about making the future tangible. This is achieved through classic design thinking techniques. By the end of the day, you will have an artefact of your desired future that corresponds to the future scenario developed on day one. You will gain insight into how to work structured with design and how to take a future scenario to the next step into something you can showcase to stakeholders, both internally and externally.
