About the role

You will become part of our Experience Design team — a cross-disciplinary group of designers, UX designers, and creative technologists. In this role, you will help shape the visual languages that guide the experiences of the digital products and services we bring to life. Your work may span apps, websites, services, processes, strategy, brand, and identity. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the Experience team and beyond. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working across the full lifecycle of digital products and services — from early ideas and concepts to final delivery.

Our workflow is dynamic. Some weeks move fast, while others allow for deeper focus and attention to detail, such as refining flows or building detailed prototypes. You will have the opportunity to continuously develop and hone your digital design skills and profile. At 1508, the Experience team brings together a broad range of skills. We enjoy experimenting, nerd new digital design opportunities, taking initiative, and making ideas tangible.

Qualifications

We are looking for a digital experience designer with 3+ years of experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities. These three years should come from a full-time position rather than a student job. You have a relevant education and are fluent in Danish and English. We hope you recognize yourself in most of the following:

  • UI Design:
    You care about each little detail of the visual interface the user might encounter in a digital product or service. You are experienced in working with digital design systems and understand the importance of consistency, scalability, and brand alignment. Whether it is interaction, responsiveness, or the overall look and feel, you aim to create smooth, intuitive, and visually strong user experiences.

  • Interaction design:
    You are a proficient prototyper, from low-fidelity concepts to clickable mock-ups with animations and transitions that simulate the final product. You create flow diagrams, know your interaction patterns, and are well-versed with accessibility and usability.

  • Design thinking:
    You embrace a design-thinking mindset and master creative complex problem-solving and critical reflection from multiple perspectives. 

  • Project design:
    You are eager to pitch in and help win new projects and clients. You understand how to shape projects and processes in ways that lead to meaningful and relevant outcomes.
